She was raised with cats since a very young age and then adopted her Havanese dog, Louie, when he was a puppy. Louie developed epilepsy at an early age and has been given consistent medication multiple times a day for years to manage the seizures. Lara also rescued her two friendly cats, Luna and Bowie who she adores. Lara does not have any children but treats her animals as if they are her own kids fulfilling all of their needs and requirements and does not let any minor health issue go unnoticed or unaddressed. She believes every animal deserves this kind of love and attention as animals deserve the same kind of care as anyone else! She started volunteering at several local animal rescues for many years and even put together fundraising events to raise money for their care. She happily accommodated my dogs. She sent me daily pictures and continual updates of how they were doing. They were even bathed before I came to pick them up.
